Reduced Turtle carrying Nature by Rechbi Reduced Turtle carrying Nature by Rechbi
Acryl on linen, 80 x 60cm

This is the third painting this reduced series. This is the biggest painting of this series so far.

If you like this painting then have a look at Reduced Dali and Reduced Balancing Deer and Cat too.

As I've told you before, I really like the style of these reduced dali paintings. I quite like this one in particular because of the mini island you've put on its back. I like the idea of the turtle carrying nature.

Thank you very much :) In fact, this is also the one I'm most proud of. And as you probably can see, the turtle isn't quite relaxed in the state it is now and as a land turtle it's moving quite slow. I mean I thought of this things AFTER I was done with the painting, but seeing it that way, it's a quite fitting metaphor that a turtle carrys nature.
Perhaps I'll do another painting where it finally falls due to human action or something. It'd be so deep and critical and all. lol.

lovely work!! This would be a great Stamp image / icon for a known brand name in the future due to it's crisp line and easy to identify components. Every one loves a cute turtle

Interesting! I didn't even consider it as a Stamp image or something up until now, but it's very interesting hearing such different points of view. Thanks! :)
